About Locum Tenens Week

National Locum Tenens Week, brought to you by NALTO®, the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations®, returns for its tenth year from August 10 – 14, 2026.

This year’s theme, “Flexible Staffing, Sustainable Care,” recognizes the essential role locum tenens physicians and advanced practice providers play in helping healthcare organizations maintain consistent access to quality care.

The purpose of National Locum Tenens Week is to recognize the contributions of locum tenens clinicians and provide a valuable opportunity for healthcare staffing agencies, recruiters, and industry professionals to share their stories on a national stage.
